Let's keep each other safe

Please visit the Queensland Health website for all updated information surrounding COVID-19.

Being COVID-Safe is a shared responsibility. While you are enjoying Christmas in the Moreton Bay Region, we want to ensure that you are thinking about the safety of yourself and others as the foremost priority - as we are. Whether you are making a family night out of one of our Signature Christmas Carol events, taking a tour of candidates in our Christmas Lights Competition, or checking out one of the community events within the region, please consider the following safe practices:

Maintain social distancing, particularly in circumstances where social distancing is limited.

Please stay home if you are feeling unwell or have a cough, sore throat, fever, fatigue or shortness of breath.

Please stay at home if you have been in contact with a person with a known positive case of COVID-19 or possible exposure within the last 14 days.

Please stay at home if you have been tested for COVID-19 and are waiting results.

Please stay at home if you have travelled to a declared hotspot.

Please maintain good hand hygiene.

Please ensure you check in via the QLD Government QR code upon arrival at all of our Christmas Carol events.

Pine Rivers Christmas Carols - 19th December
Vaccination Status

Public advice from Queensland Health has advised that you will not require to be double vaccinated to attend outdoor carol events in public parks, such as Pine Rivers Christmas Carols on Sunday 19 December. Whilst we highly recommend all attendees be vaccinated, it will not be enforced at this stage under Queensland Health guidelines. Please ensure you keep up to date with all relevant information surrounding this on both our Facebook event page as we get close to the event date, our website and the Queensland Health website.

Ways we are keeping you safe
at our Signature Christmas Carol Events

Please take advantage of our sanitisation stations available throughout all our Christmas Carol events and at our Information Tents.

COVID announcements will be delivered throughout the evening. Please listen to the MC or any of the event staff and volunteers for these announcements. Please ensure you are following directions of staff at all times.

COVID-Safe signage will be displayed throughout the event site, including multiple QR code check-in points. Please ensure you check in upon arrival.

We have a dedicate COVID-safe team. If a space in the event looks to crowded, please let event staff or security know and please distance yourself where possible.

Event staff have the right to refuse entry to event attendees who may be displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

If you have any additional questions, please visit out FAQ page or email us at events.support@mbrit.com.au
