About Bellini Road Park | Burpengary
If you’re looking for something a little different this weekend, and something that’s near Brisbane, why not try this park off Bellini Road in Burpengary. Each precinct in the Moreton Bay Region is endeavouring to maximise the great amount of space available, and this new park is no exception. Your kids will definitely consider this one of the top playgrounds they have visited recently.
Colourful equipment with a modern twist
Children’s climbing walls are popping up everywhere however most are set to quite a steep incline that can be quite daunting for a first time adventurer. This gorgeous little park features a sloped climbing wall perfect for young children looking for a light start to fun new attractions such as these. The angle of the slope means your kids will feel that sense of achievement as they work their way to the top, and it also ensures a forgiving run to the bottom if they can’t quite make it.
The park also features a modernized see-saw, and spring swings that will have the young ones bouncing for hours. In addition, is has a minecraft inspired art installation bound to mesmerize the kids as they spin the coloured cylinders to create an unlimited array of shapes and patterns.
The classics are still here
For the parks and playground purists out there this gem of a playground still has all the classics. It features a great little climbing castle and double slippery slide as well as good old fashioned swings.
Shade and protection
There is a large shade sail covering the play area so the kids can find plenty of protection from the UV rays. And parents will find comfort on the seats and bench under the large gazebo as they watch their children play. The flooring is a mixture of softfall and woodchips to soften any potential falls the little ones may have.
Getting there
This great little park is just a short trip south of Caboolture along Morayfield Rd, turning onto Station Rd before a quick left turn onto North Shore Drive. Or if you’re visiting from Brisbane simply head up the M1 and take exit 142 to Deception Bay Road. From here take Old Gympie Road, turning left onto Pitt Road and a right onto Bellini Road.
