Spanning the entire foreshore along Solander Esplanade, Col Fischer park is a picturesque beachside park with lots of space and amenities for visitors.

With both a playground and beach access this park will be a favourite with the kids. The accessible beach from Col Fischer park is soft sand and has shallow swimming areas perfect for the little ones. The playground includes two slides, a swing and climbing equipment, and adjacent to the park is a basketball court and pathways surround the park perfect for riding push bikes.

A grassy area behind is suitable for throwing down the picnic rug, or cooking up a BBQ lunch on the electric BBQs and sitting down to lunch at one of the available picnic tables.

Wedding Area

With views of Glasshouse Mountains and the Pumicestone Passage this park is an ideal wedding ceremony location. The designated ceremony site is opposite Elizabeth Batts Close, measuring 25m x 20m. To book this space for your wedding please apply via the Moreton Bay Regional Council here.
