As one of the most aesthetically gifted parks in the Moreton Bay Region, Greenway Central Park in Narangba is a must-see for outdoor lovers. Load the family into the car and prepare for an adventure you won’t believe exists right near Brisbane. Greenway gets its name because of its unique design around conservation corridors.

Flying Fox and Fort

Situated on Cootamundra Crescent, Greenway Central Park is well-known for its Fort and Flying Fox. Bigger kids can (literally) have fun with these for hours. Parents can sit back in wonder as their children burn every ounce of energy available running back and forth, whizzing through the air on the awesome flying fox. And they will imagine they are King Arthur himself when they first lay eyes on the fort positioned at the top of the rise.

Something for the younger kids

Littler kids now have their own separate playground which has been especially designed for them. This means they don’t have to battle with the bigger kids over space in the larger fort area.

Stay for a BBQ

The park comes fully equipped with picnic benches and BBQ areas. This is the perfect venue if you’re looking for that outdoor spot to hold the youngling’s next birthday party. The seating areas all have an easy view of the play areas so parents can keep a watchful eye on events.

Getting there

From Caboolture head south on Oakey Flat Road taking a left onto Young road, and right onto Golden Wattle Drive. From Brisbane head north on the M1, taking exit 142 to New Settlement Road, before a right onto Young Road and a final left onto Golden Wattle Drive.
