Do you have an item of clothing that needs mending? Perhaps with a patch, a button, a new zipper or maybe it needs a stich?
Every Friday in October we invite you to bring along articles of clothing in need of repair and have a cuppa with a local sewer from the community. They will discuss your items with you, attempt to fix it and show you how to do it yourself for next time!
Free Event | All Ages
Call the museum on 3480-6700 to book your repair and provide a description of what needs to be done. Staff will source supplies if required.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions to ensure participant safety, we are unable to admit walk-ins to this program.
Please note this workshop will not operate on Friday 29th October due to the Queensland Public Holiday.
