10:30am 6th July - 3:00pm 6th July
Long before Photoshop, artists and photographers used various methods to manipulate photographs to create make-believe scenes.
In some cases, photography was used as a form of trickery to play on superstitions or to capture mythical beings and objects such as UFOs, the Loch Ness Monster and fairies! Fantastical creatures were often captured by placing realistic models or cardboard cut-outs into a scene.
In this workshop, create your own fantastical creature cut-out and magical scene through light and shadows.
