Tigers are considered to be kind and benevolent figures in Chinese lore. Tigers have rich emotions, make brash decisions and are hard to control - thus, they are usually compared with emperors or kings. They are considered as a patron deity for children and have a strong sense of justice.
But no matter how many difficulties or obstacles a Tiger may face, they will never give up.
Guests will be thrilled with traditional Eastern music and dance performances, including an awe-inspiring Dragon Dance, a drumming showcase, and pyro displays.
Treat your taste buds to a feast of Eastern flavours in an Eat Street-style of food tasting. You can sample a variety of flavours or simply fill up on your favourite!
Take part in calligraphy workshops, build your own lanterns, learn the intricacies of Eastern culture, and more!
Our 2022 program is still being firmed up. Please keep checking back as we update. We're very excited to announce the program we have coming!
The Moreton Bay Region Lunar New Year will conclude with a brilliant pyrotechnic firecracker display at 8pm. In traditional Chinese culture, firecrackers are used to scare away evil spirits.
Please note this firecracker display can be very loud and some younger children and dogs may be frightened by the noise.
This event is held at Caboolture Town Square, located on King Street, Caboolture.
