About Moreton Bay Triathlon

Join us for a beautiful swim in the protected bay, followed by a fast ride over the Ted Smout Bridge and a flat foreshore run!

The Moreton Bay Tri welcomes athletes of all ages and abilities to compete in a fun, friendly environment.

From the Kool Kids 7yrs+ races, to the beginners getting a feel for a triathlon, to challenging yourself to take on the longer Club or Classic distance races, there has never been a better time to tri!

Moreton Bay Race Categories

CLASSIC

  • 15 years +
  • 2000m swim – 60km bike – 15km run

CLUB

  • 14 years +
  • 1000m swim – 30km bike – 7.5km run

ENTICER DISTANCE

  • 12 years +
  • 300m swim – 10km bike – 2.5km run

KOOL KIDS DISTANCE

  • 7-11 years
  • 100m swim – 2km bike – 500m run

5:15am Event Check In & Bike Racking Opens - all distances
6:15am Classic & Club Distance Check In closes
6:20am Classic Distance Race Start
7:50am Enticer and Kool Kids Check In closes
8:00am Enticer and Kool Kids Bike Racking closes
7:15am Club Distance Race Start
8:00am Enticer Race Start
9:20am Kool Kids Race Start
10:10am Event Presentation

Who: For serious athletes and newbies of varying fitness levels. Ages 7 and up.

To Enter: You need to register into a triathlon race category through the Moreton Bay Triathlon website
