About The Cat Empire 20 years

The Cat Empire will perform their final Queensland show on Saturday 18th December.

A message from The Cat Empire:

“Queensland – We are now determined to be the first band to cross the border!!

Due to the current border restrictions, The Cat Empire show at Sandstone Point Hotel has to be rescheduled to Sat Dec 18 when the border opens to the rest of Australia”

Previous tickets remain valid for the new date, no action is required to attend the new date. Should you not be able to make the new date please contact your place of purchase for a refund.

After 20 incredible years of touring and making music together, we have decided to disband and make way for a new incarnation of The Cat Empire to come to life fronted by Felix and Ollie.

The final show of the original line-up in Queensland will take place at a venue we have come to love: Sandstone Point Hotel. We have so much to celebrate and can't wait to have you there with us for this massive event on our final tour run.

The party will get started with Queensland favourites Caravãna Sun after an opening set by Kelly Brouhaha. Then our very own Ollie McGill will play a special solo piano set before we move into two hours of The Cat Empire.

We are planning a set-list jam-packed with favourite songs spanning our career. Expect an unforgettable celebration with plenty of reflection and immeasurable joy.

LONG LIVE LIVING. Over 18 years.
