Wild storms cause more road closures
Words by Ashleigh Howarth

Wild storms lashing the region have once again bought heavy rain, forcing the closure of more than 60 roads across the region.

Motorists are being urged to obey all road closure signage, regardless of whether water has receded.

Penalties apply to those disregarding or removing road closed signs or traffic cones, to drive on closed roads.
