Perched on the stunning shores of Bramble Bay, this bowls club is a go-to destination for fun this summer with barefoot bowls and entertainment just the beginning.

Bramble Bay Bowls Club offers barefoot bowls every day from 11am, with the latest sessions starting about 3-4pm (depending on the season and sunset).

In summer, you can bowl right up to 6.30pm and enjoy the sunset over the bay.

A spokeswoman for Bramble Bay Bowls Club says barefoot bowls is the perfect mix of fun, friendly competition and relaxation.

“It’s easy to learn, great for all ages and ideal for team bonding or casual catch-ups. Add a few drinks, some sunshine and a lot of laughs - and you’ve got the perfect social outing,” she says.

“Just $10 per person gets you a two-hour session on the green, with all equipment provided. We also have foam bowls for kids, making it a great family friendly activity.”

Barefoot bowls is just the tip of the iceberg, with something happening most days at Bramble Bay Bowls Club.

• Wednesday: Musical bingo
• Thursday: Karaoke
• Friday to Sunday: Live music with no cover charge. There will be a special event on New Year’s Eve ($10 entry) and the club will host an Australia Day celebration on January 26, with local favourite Aussie Aussie Aussie for a full day of fun.

Located overlooking the bay at Woody Point, Bramble Bay Bowls Club is the perfect place to relax and connect.

Members enjoy discounted meals from the Bistro, The Golden Bite, and special prices at the bar.

Happy Hour times are: 3-5pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 4-6pm on Friday; and 1-3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Menu for selected beer, wine and spirits is available at the bar.

The club’s Members’ Christmas Cash Grab kicks off on November 17, with $2500 in cash prizes drawn on December 21.

Upgrade in 2026

Bramble Bay Bowls Club has secured a grant for a covered synthetic green, with work starting in early 2026.

“This will allow for night bowls and all-weather play, taking community fun to the next level,” the spokeswoman says
