Caboolture first in Roar plans

Brisbane Roar will launch their 2025-26 pre-season fixtures this month in the Moreton Bay region.

Roar's 10-match program - ahead of the new Isuzu UTE A-League campaign - begins at Caboolture on Tuesday, July 15.

Caboolture’s FQPL1 team will line-up against the men in orange at Moreton Bay Central Sporting Complex, Burpengary, kick-off 7.30pm.

Reece Dalton, Caboolture Sports FC General Manager, said the club is “proud” to welcome Roar for their opening pre-season fixture.

“This event offers valuable engagement for our members and a prime opportunity to showcase our best-in-class facilities at Moreton Bay Sports Complex,” he said.

Roar’s visit will focus on engaging with fans, pre-game coaching by players, half-time entertainment and signing sessions.

Head Coach Michael Valkanis said, “the wider community means everything to Brisbane Roar".

"That’s why kicking off our pre-season against Caboolture and every match that follows is so important.

“These games are a great opportunity to thank our community, give back and really connect with our fans as we prepare for a new season.

“I can’t wait to get started, see everyone out there, and meet as many of our amazing supporters as possible.”

Brisbane Roar will then face Holland Park (July 23) and St George Willawong (July 29), with more pre-season fixtures to be announced.

The visit to Caboolture comes a month short of the 20th anniversary of Roar’s first A-League match – a 2-0 victory over New Zealand Knights.
