Council’s Healthy and Active Moreton program to return in 2022

Council’s Healthy and Active Moreton program is returning in 2022, providing residents the opportunity to try something new and become a healthier and fitter version of themselves.

The first timetable for the year is the Summer Active Holidays program, aimed at keeping children and teenagers entertained throughout the school holidays.

The program will run between January 10-23, and is packed with more than 90 sport, recreation, adventure and wellness activities for children and teenagers up to 18-year-old to try.

What’s on offer

With so many fun activities to try, you won’t hear the phrase “I’m bored” from your children!

Classes for adults

Council’s Healthy and Active program for adults and seniors resumes on January 24, 2022.

An updated timetable is yet to be released, but up-to-date information will be released on Council’s website as well as the Moreton Bay Regional Council Facebook page closer to the date.

A successful year

Council has reported there were more than 30,000 bookings made for this program in 2021.
