Energy and jobs focus at coffee catch up

Queensland’s Energy and Jobs Plan will be in the spotlight at Mark Ryan’s Small Business Network Coffee Catch Up on March 24 at Caboolture Sports Club.

The State Member for Morayfield, pictured left, said the monthly March meeting, at 7am, would give information on the State’s renewable energy strategy.

“The Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan will reduce household and business electricity emissions by 96 per cent by 2040,” Mr Ryan said.

“And the best part is, there are benefits for all businesses, no matter your size or sector.

“As we transition towards a clean energy future more and more businesses are looking to decarbonise their operations and the Energy and Jobs Plan provides a pathway.

“This plan is good for the environment, good for business and good for jobs.”

Mr Ryan urged small business owners and representatives from the greater Caboolture region to join him on March 24 to find out how they can benefit.

Each Small Business Coffee Catch Up supports a nominated local charity, with gold coin donations from attendees.

The March event funds raised will go to Caboolture Meals on Wheels.

Entry to the catch up is free but booking essential. Phone 5343 5100 to book a spot.
