Enrol now and Get Set For Work

Caboolture PCYC is recruiting now for its new Get Set For Work (GSFW) program.

GSFW helps anyone aged 15-19, who is disadvantaged and disengaged, by building up self-esteem and preparing them for employment.

Those on the course gain skills and confidence to join the workforce, take up further training or go back to complete school.

Free program

GSRW, a free 10-week program, provides a Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways by covering such as resume writing, interview skills and budgeting.

Personal development and team building sessions are used to help participants learn important social skills which are needed at work.

There is also a focus on healthy cooking, work experience, personal fitness, adventure development, visits to industry and much more.

New intake

The next intake is January 24 and Caboolture PCYC, in Toovey St, is actively looking for participants.

GSFW is a State Government initiative providing funds for not-for-profit community-based organisations to deliver employment and training help.
