Thousands of people flocked to George Willmore Park at Ferny Hills on Saturday for the much-loved Hills Carnivale event.

Held on Saturday, May 27, the event was the grand finale for the annual Hills Festival - a month-long celebration of the district which takes in Arana Hills, Bunya, Draper, Everton Hills, Ferny Hills and Albany Creek.

The day included a huge selection of carnival rides, lots of food and market vendors, as well as free workshops and activities.

The Kids Stage was a big hit on the day, with lots of fun activities for the little ones to enjoy including an animal farm, face painting and craft workshops.

Lots of people could also be seen singing and dancing around the mainstage, with Silk ‘N’ Oak revving up the crowd before a spectacular fireworks display.

Hills Carnivale was proudly presented by Moreton Bay Regional Council, and Strategic Sponsors Moreton Alert, Ausbuild, UniSC, Brisbane Whale Watching, and Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club, with the assistance of gold sponsors, Belgravia Leisure, Keperra Dental Surgery, Mark Furner MP, Peter Dutton MP, and community sponsor Chrysalis Dental Care.
