Giving healthcare charities a $25,000 boost

Healthcare charities are encouraged to apply for $25,000 worth of in-kind marketing support to expand their reach and connect with more people in need.
Splice Marketing has opened applications for its 2025 Marketing Assistance Package (M.A.P.), an initiation designed to support charities operating on limited funding and stretched resources.
Now in its second year, M.A.P. was created to shine a spotlight on non-profits organisations that often struggle with minimal budgets and marketing support.
Splice Marketing’s Chief Operating Officer Kelly Dimkovska highlights the importance of the program.
“Charities often do all the heavy lifting. Without access to dedicated marketing resources, many have a limited online presence, making it harder for those in need to find and access support,” Kelly explains.
“Nearly 32 per cent of Australian charities have an annual revenue of $50,000 or less, leaving them with limited resources for expenses like marketing. Without support, many struggle to share their message effectively.
“Visibility is key—without it, charities face challenges in securing funding, attracting volunteers, and reaching those in need. That’s why, each year, our Marketing Assistance Package helps one healthcare charity gain the voice and platform it deserves.
Splice Marketing has a long history of philanthropic support, frequently sponsoring events in the health and social sectors to promote meaningful causes.
Since 2021, the agency has provided ongoing pro bono marketing assistance to help local organisations strengthen their outreach and community support.
In 2024, Splice Marketing expanded its charitable efforts by launching M.A.P., with its first recipient, Chronic Pain Australia, benefitting from a comprehensive marketing campaign.
“The Kids in Pain campaign not only raised vital awareness but also laid the groundwork for long-term impact—connecting more families with essential resources and fostering a strong, engaged community,” Kelly explains.
“Seeing measurable results, from increased engagement to wider reach, highlights the power of strategic marketing in creating meaningful change. We’re proud to have played a role in amplifying this initiative and look forward to its continued growth.”

Eligible healthcare charities and non-profits are encouraged to apply for the 2025 Marketing Assistance Package.
Applicants should demonstrate how their service or program improves access to quality healthcare, enhances health outcomes, promotes health education, champions accessibility, and fosters inclusivity.
Online applications are open until Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a panel interview (online or in person), where one organisation will be selected to receive Splice Marketing’s M.A.P.
