Grants to help those in need

Pine Rivers Community Finance Ltd (PRCF) has a special grant round to tackle homelessness and food insecurity in the Moreton Bay region.

With grants from $5000-$30,000, it will support projects helping the homeless, those at risk, facing food insecurity and escaping family and domestic violence.

According to the 2021 Census, the Moreton Bay region has seen a 90 per cent increase in homelessness over the past decade.

PRCF is responding with targeted funding aimed at delivering practical support, advocacy, and prevention.

The grants are available to not-for-profit organisations working in the Moreton Bay region that:

  • Assist people experiencing homelessness or at risk
  • Provide food relief or emergency support
  • Offer advocacy and education programs to prevent homelessness
  • Work with vulnerable people to create long-term solutions

Projects focussing on prevention, capacity building, and systemic change will be prioritised. Strategic partnerships between organisations are strongly encouraged.

Grant applications have opened and close on April 30, 2025. Successful applicants will be notified in June for projects to start from July 2025.

This is an invitation-only grant round. Contact PRCF’s Grants Officer to check if your project is suitable. Email: grants@prcf.com.au.
