Gym expansion provides holistic approach to health

A Caboolture gym that specialises in martial arts fighting and fitness has expanded to include a one-stop shop of health and wellness services.

Limitless Combat Sports (LCS) Owner Mike Smith said the new wellness and sports recovery centre meant he could provide a comprehensive approach to health.

“We launched the wellness and sports recovery side of the business in November, but had a soft opening just before Christmas,” he said.

“We are very diverse in the services we offer, which matches our philosophy of fixing your mind and your body.

“We offer things like contrast therapy, which is hot baths and ice baths, an infrared sauna, compression therapy, cupping, remedial massage and sound bowl meditation.

“People who are really active will find these services valuable.

“But it’s not just for athletes. We also have people who come in that work in jobs where they have to be on their feet all day, like nurses.”

A growing business

In addition to opening this new venture, Mr Smith said LCS was also continuing to grow.

“Our business grew almost 90 per cent last year from our 2020 figures, which we are really pleased about because we are a niche business in the fitness industry,” he said.

“We now offer three different types of martial arts, host around 50 classes a week, as well as being a normal open gym.

“We take everyone from mums and dads to little kids, professionals and amateur fighters.”
