‘High Tide Event’ warning for coast
Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Moreton Alert system has issued a warning for residents living in low-lying coastal areas, with a ‘routine High Tide Event’ forecast from today through to July 8.
The warning states that low-lying roads and properties adjacent to foreshore areas may experience minor tidal inundation.
Suburbs likely to be affected include:
- Bongaree
- Toorbul
- Ningi
- Donnybrook
- White Patch
- Deception Bay
- Scarborough
- Redcliffe
- Woody Point
- Clontarf
- Newport
