Hundreds enjoy free Movie in the Park

There were picnic rugs and seats as far as the eye could see at St Eugene College in Burpengary over the weekend, as hundreds of families turned up for the free Movie in the Park event.

Organisers estimate roughly 600 families attended the free event, with lots of laughing heard throughout the screening of Minions: The Rise of Gru.

The event also featured a special appearance by a minion, free face painting, food trucks and a sausage sizzle cooked by the team from St Eugene College Café.

This event is part of Moreton Bay Regional Council’s bumper community events program for 2023.

Movie in the Park Burpengary was presented by Moreton Bay Regional Council and supported by major sponsors Ausbuild and Moreton Daily.
