Jetty 2 Jetty’s a cracker
Serious runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes and everyday heroes enjoyed a ‘cracker’ of a Jetty 2 Jetty on the Redcliffe peninsula yesterday.
The event’s half marathon, 10km and 3km races sold out as competitors of all abilities enjoyed one of Australia’s most scenic courses and a stunning sunrise over Moreton Bay.
Organisers and participants worked together to ensure it was a COVID-safe event, wearing masks when moving around the race precinct, social distancing and using the QR code to check in.
Jetty 2 Jetty’s first ever wheelchair 10km event featured eight competitors.
