Month of Hills Festival fun
The Hills Festival 2026 launches tomorrow with a month of events, performances and activities across the community.
From May 1-31, Arana Hills, Ferny Hills, Everton Hills, Bunya and Draper will have everything from live performances and outdoor experiences to family events.
Highlights of the 2026 program include:
Community events bringing people together
Immersive performances as part of Anywhere Festival
Groovin’ in the Green - live music and outdoor entertainment
A diverse program showcasing local talent, creativity and unique experiences.
The month-long celebration will culminate in Hills Carnivale, a colourful finale featuring entertainment, rides, food and fireworks.
City of Moreton Bay Acting Mayor Jodie Shipway said that the festival was a highlight on the City’s community calendar.
“Hills Festival 2026 is a celebration of creativity, local talent and community spirit,” she said.
Cr Matt Constance (Div 10) said the month-long program gives plenty of reasons to get out, explore the neighbourhood and connect with others.
“Hills Festival 2026 showcases the vibrancy and energy that make the Hills District such a special place to live,” he said.
Event costs vary, with a range of free and low-cost options available.
Hills Festival 2026 is presented by City of Moreton Bay and delivered by Tourism and Events Moreton Bay (TEMB).
