Moreton Bay City Council Christmas closure 2025

Moreton Bay City Council administration and customer service centres will close from noon on Wednesday, December 24 and reopen at 8.30am on Monday, January 5.

Many council facilities, including libraries, galleries, museums, swimming pools and waste facilities, will have adjusted operating hours during the Christmas holiday period.

Council’s call centre will continue to be available throughout the period for urgent matters and to report emergencies. Phone (07) 3205 0555 or 1300 477 161.

Household waste collection will continue as normal.

The final council general meeting for 2025 will be held on December 11 at its Strathpine Chambers.
