New date set for Caboolture Family Fun Day

Caboolture Family Fun Day is back! After an unexpected postponement in August, due to the snap COVID-19 lockdown, the event has been rescheduled and is on September 26.

There’s plenty of fun to be had with rides for all ages, stage entertainment, live music, showbags, activities and workshops, market stalls, food trucks, and much more.

It’s all happening at Centenary Lakes from 10am-4pm. Best of all, there’s free entry, free rides and free entertainment.

Caboolture Family Fun Day is proudly presented by Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT) and supported by strategic event partner Moreton Bay Regional Council.

MBRIT Chairman Shane Newcombe says it is Caboolture’s cost-effective version of the EKKA.

“We are thrilled we’ve been able to reschedule this hugely popular event, which draws families from across the region,” Mr Newcombe says.

“Many were disappointed when we had to postpone the event, so this is a great outcome. It will be an awesome day out for families.”

Mayor Peter Flannery says the event offers fun for the whole family.

“Centenary Lakes will come alive with a pop-up show of free rides, stage shows, activities, markets, food stalls and more,” he says.

Parking options

Parking is limited at Centenary Lakes, but there is additional parking at Caboolture Town Square multi-storey car park and Caboolture Train Station.

Accessible parking will be made available directly opposite the entrance to the event adjacent to the Caboolture Tennis Club. Show your parking permit to the carpark marshals on entry and they will direct you through to the correct parking area.
