Plea for footage of fatal crash

A man has died following a two-vehicle traffic crash at Kippa-Ring last night (June 16).

About 9.33pm, emergency services were called to a crash involving a black Suzuki RF900 and white Mitsubishi Fuso at the Anzac Ave and Oleander St intersection.

The minibus caught on fire and rolled into a parked vehicle on Oleander St.

The Suzuki rider, a 26-year-old Rothwell man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

The Mitsubishi driver, a 51-year-old Clontarf man, was taken to Redcliffe Hospital with minor burns.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Police are appealing to anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the crash, and the moments leading up to the crash, to contact them.
