Plea to help find stolen puppy

A four-month-old puppy due to go home with new owners has been stolen from the RSPCA’s Dakabin shelter.

RSPCA spokeswoman Emma Lagoon said Cashew, a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, was taken about 2am on Saturday, March 19.

"Our whole team is absolutely devastated, and so too are the adopters that were due to take Cashew home,” Emma says.

Cashew is brown in colour and has a white patch on her chest.

The RSPCA is currently working with the Queensland Police on the safe return of the puppy.
