Police appeal after hit-and-run

Police are appealing for information, dashcam or CCTV footage which may help investigations into a hit and run in Narangba yesterday.

Around 5.15pm, emergency services were called to Boundary Rd after reports a white utility of unknown make and model, struck an e-scooter.

One of the riders, a 52-year-old Monkland man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A second rider, an 18-year-old Gympie woman, was not injured. The ute driver did not stay at the scene.

The ute is described as white, with a cargo tray on the back and ladder rack.

Investigations are ongoing. There is no further information at this time.
