Redcliffe State High School joins Moreton Daily as Strategic Partner
Redcliffe State High School has officially come on board as a Strategic Partner with Moreton Daily for the first time in 2026, strengthening its connection with families across the peninsula and the wider Moreton Bay community.
A strong local connection
Principal Barry Wallett said the partnership reflects the school’s long-standing commitment to supporting local organisations and staying closely connected to the community it serves.
“Supporting local community is everything to Redcliffe State High School. We're looking to utilise local providers, local resources, local as much as we possibly can,” Mr Wallett said.
“So the opportunity to work with Moreton Daily was a little bit of a no brainer, in that we work locally to get our message out as best we can to our community around what we offer, who we are, and the opportunities that we have, as well as to make sure that people know what we stand for as a school.”
Born at Redcliffe Hospital and educated locally, Mr Wallett said leading the school was both a professional honour and a personal milestone. Since opening in 1958, Redcliffe State High School has played a major role in educating generations of peninsula families.
Today, the school offers a broad range of opportunities including academic academies, excellence programs in sport and creative industries, and strong links with local organisations. Its 2026 vision: Connect, Learn, Succeed, centres on building strong relationships and creating clear pathways for every student.
Supporting local, independent journalism
The Strategic Partnership will see Redcliffe State High School share school updates, initiatives and student achievements with the Moreton Bay community through Moreton Daily.
Moreton Daily Partnerships Manager Lyndsay Lawler said the partnership was a strong alignment between two organisations deeply embedded in the local community.
“We’re proud to welcome Redcliffe State High School as a Strategic Partner in 2026,” Ms Lawler said.
“Strategic Partners like Redcliffe State High School play an important role in supporting local, free and independent journalism. Their support allows us to continue sharing positive community stories while helping schools connect with the families they serve.”
Moreton Daily welcomes Redcliffe State High School as a Strategic Partner and thanks them for supporting local, independent journalism for the City of Moreton Bay.
