Road changes start on Monday
Changes will be introduced on Monday for pedestrians and traffic using Dohles Rocks Rd during the Bruce Highway Upgrades.
After a delay due to site arrangements, traffic movements will temporarily change to allow for the closure of a lane and new pedestrian crossings.
The upgrade changes include closing the eastbound straight-through traffic lane on Dohles Rocks Rd.
Altering one of the right-turn only lanes that joins the Highway into a shared straight and right-turn lane.
Traffic signal timings will change on the southbound entry and northbound exit ramps on Dohles Rocks Rd for signalised pedestrian crossings.
A pedestrian crossing will be installed over the Highway slip lane turning west onto Dohles Rocks Rd.
Those usually catching the bus from stop 316056 on Dohles Rocks Rd will need to use stop 317934 on Goodrich Rd West, on the west side of the shopping centre.
These changes are expected to remain until May 2026, weather and construction scheduling permitting.
Transport and Main Roads will monitor the impact of changes on traffic and work with City of Moreton Bay to make adjustments if needed.
Work is expected from 6am-6pm, Monday to Friday and 7am to 1pm Saturday. Night works 9pm-6am, Sunday to Thursday, when required.
