See hit family movie for free

Bring all the family to Sandstone Point for a free showing of the animated movie Sing 2 on Saturday.

See koala Buster Moon and his friends on the big screen at Sandstone Point Community and Sports Complex Hall, in this sequel to the 2016 hit musical comedy.

This time Buster and co try to persuade reclusive rock star Clay Calloway to join them for a new show in this family friendly movie.

Stars lending their voices to Sing 2 include Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson and Bono.

There will be free rides before movie and a dazzling fireworks display supplied by major sponsors Lions Club of Sandstone Point and Sandstone Point Community Association.

Movie treats will be available from food trucks and include popcorn and fairy floss - and sausage sandwiches from the community barbecue raising money for a local community group.

Movie in the Park Sandstone Point is from 5-8pm and part of Moreton Bay Regional Council’s bumper community events program for 2023.
