Sod turn on new clubhouse precinct
Construction has officially started on $17 million resort style amenities in one of Moreton Bay’s newest suburbs.
AVID Property Group this week marked the sod turn on a new community clubhouse at Lilywood at Waraba (formerly Caboolture West).
The clubhouse will be at the centre of Vantage Lilywood, a new housing option for over-50s with 296 homes.
It is the first of a number of landmarks for Vantage Lilywood, with its a sales and information centre and first showhomes expected to open next month.
First residents are expected during June 2026 and the clubhouse to open in winter 2027.
“Having only started construction on the first homes in the Vantage Lilywood community late last year, it is fantastic to be able to get underway with the community clubhouse and amenities so soon after,” AVID CEO Anthony Demiris said
City of Moreton Bay Division 12 Councillor Tony Latter said: “The Waraba area, including Lilywood, will play an important role in our City’s future by becoming a dynamic urban hub that will eventually accommodate some 70,000 residents.”
Amenities include a clubhouse, pool and spa, heated lap pool, sauna, gym, tennis and pickleball courts, bowling green, workshop and art studio, yoga area and off-leash dog park.
The clubhouse will have a private cinema, a golf simulator, library, games room, residents’ kitchen, bar and lounge, barbecue area and dining rooms.
