Tenders open for new pavilion
Tenders have opened for hospitality services in the new $19 million Suttons Beach Pavilion at Redcliffe.
Moreton Bay City Council says interested parties can now submit responses detailing plans for the site.
The vision for the pavilion is a “dynamic mix of food and beverage concepts across the ground floor and level one, offering a range of experiences and service styles”.
With detailed design now complete and construction set to begin in 2026, the new Suttons Beach Pavilion is expected to open in late 2027.
“The opportunity to create a vibrant and lasting hospitality scene is too good to be missed, especially at such a stunning beachfront location,” says Mayor Peter Flannery.
“Having a mix of food and beverage options will give the beach park something for everyone and create a welcoming environment for our community and visitors.”
Councillor Karl Winchester (Div 6) said: “This is a unique destination opportunity, in a sought-after location.
“It’s great to be at this point in the process as we get even closer to the new Pavilion opening."
City of Moreton Bay encourages all interested parties to view the information on the hospitality opportunities.
This project is funded by City of Moreton Bay and the SEQ City Deal Liveability Fund and the Council of Mayors (South East Queensland).
