The Screaming Jets to headline huge 12-hour festival at Redcliffe
One of Australia’s most iconic rock bands is heading to Redcliffe, with The Screaming Jets set to headline this year’s Where We Belong Festival, leading a lineup of more than 20 acts in the event’s biggest year yet.
Set for Saturday, June 27 at the Settlement Cove Amphitheatre, the festival will deliver 12 hours of live music across two stages, with $50 tickets and free entry for children under 12. Gates open at 10am, with music running through to 10pm.
From classic Aussie rock nostalgia to a full day of live performances, this year’s event is shaping up as one of the biggest and most accessible music festivals on the Peninsula.
Festival organiser and Tribe Social Belonging CEO Ryan Elson said the 2026 event marks a major step forward.
“Having The Screaming Jets headline is huge. They’re one of those bands people have grown up with, and they still put on an incredible live show,” Ryan said.
“To bring that kind of nostalgia to Redcliffe, alongside a full day of live music, is something we’re really proud of.”
“We’ve always believed this festival could grow into something special, and this year it really feels like it’s all come together.”
A full day of non-stop live music
Alongside The Screaming Jets, the lineup features Pricey, Large Mirage and more than 19 supporting acts, creating a full day of back-to-back performances.
Two stages will run across the day, including a dedicated Emerging Bands Stage, ensuring there is always live music happening from start to finish.
“It’s not just a headline show, it’s a full 12-hour experience,” Ryan said.
“You can come down early, stay all day and discover new artists while also seeing bands you already love.”
Family-friendly and built for value
The festival has been designed as a day out for the whole community, with children under 12 able to attend for free.
That means families can enjoy a full day of live music together without the added cost of babysitters.
“We don’t want people missing out because they can’t get a babysitter or can’t afford one,” Ryan said.
“You can bring the kids, settle in for the day and just enjoy great music in a great location.”
At $50 for 12 hours of live music across two stages, the event offers standout value for locals looking for a full day out.
Alongside the headline acts, the full lineup includes Whitts End, The Phosphenes, Takeover, Heatstroke, Profanity Fair, Tailor Made Rejects, Tomohung, Burnout (formerly Redline), Nocturnal Syndrome, Dedway, Findaway!, Brax, Munkey Town, Che Burns, Metanoia, Paper Plate Pals, Seven Day Storm, Delphic After Party and Noise.
