Tickets on sale for Power's blockbuster cup tie with Roar
Tickets for Peninsula Power’s blockbuster FFA Cup tie against Brisbane Roar are now on sale.
Power, runaway leaders of the NPL Qld state league, face national A-League outfit Roar at Moreton Daily Stadium, Redcliffe on August 24.
The tickets for the tie went on sale this week via the Peninsula Power website or Power Facebook page with special early bird prices until August 10.

Get in early
“We are encouraging everyone to get in early and take advantage of the early bird prices,” said Power President Craig Feuerriegel.
“There’s a lot of work going on for this match and the biggest part is getting the tickets available online.”
The local derby – just 1.6kms separate Power's home ground AJ Kelly Park and Roar's Moreton Daily Stadium – is in the FFA Cup’s Round of 32.
Record crowd
Power have reached this stage once before, in 2017 when they faced Melbourne City at the same ground before a club record crowd of 4017.
Tickets went on sale five days after Power bounced back in style after dropping their first points of the season against Olympic (July 17) .
The NPL leaders raced into a 3-0 lead after 13 minutes at local rivals Moreton Bay United on Friday night and were 5-0 up at half-time with goals from Andy Pengelly 2, Luke Plummer, Michael McGowan and Zander Guy.

Jets made changes after the break and the second half was far tighter, but Power still won 6-1. Lewis Greenwood getting the sixth in injury time.
“We talked about it (defeat by Olympic) and did get a response we wanted,” said coach Aaron Philp, “I felt we just got it right in the first half.
“Sometimes you make your own luck, but we were in those contests when the chances came along.
“Moreton Bay are a talented team and we didn’t want to give them a chance in the second half. They can hit three or four goals quickly.”
State finals
Pengelly was substituted at the half time after getting a knock and Jesse Rigby collected a fifth yellow card and will miss Saturday’s visit by Magpies Crusaders kick-off 7pm.
FFA Cup tie against Brisbane Roar is not on Philp’s radar .... yet. “There are four games between now and that game,” he said.
Peninsula Power will host the Bill Turner State Finals for Under 15 Boys and Girls at AJ Kelly Park on August 3 and 4.
