Tribe offers free Christmas lunch for lonely, isolated

ADVERTORIAL

For many, Christmas is a time of joy, family and celebration but, for others, it can be one of the loneliest days of the year.

Recognising this, Tribe Social Belonging, a local charity dedicated to fostering connection and inclusion, is again opening its doors to those who might otherwise spend the day alone.

A free Christmas Lunch will be held at Tribe Clubhouse, 4/457 Oxley Ave, Redcliffe, on Christmas Day from 11am-2pm.

The event is designed to bring together people who are lonely or isolated, offering them not only a meal but a sense of community and belonging.

Guests will enjoy a warm, festive atmosphere filled with good food, friendship and conversation.

The lunch is free to attend, though tickets are limited to just 40 guests, ensuring an intimate and welcoming environment.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in neat casual attire and come ready to share in the Christmas spirit with others who value kindness and connection over commercialism.

Tribe Social Belonging, established in 2018, is known for its grassroots work in reducing social isolation through programs, events and community support.

From affordable clubhouse meals and mentorship programs to inclusive events such as this Christmas lunch, Tribe continues to embody its core purpose - Opportunity through Connection.
