Village Motors returns as a Moreton Daily Strategic Partner for 2026
One of Moreton Bay’s longest-standing automotive businesses has renewed its support for local journalism, with Village Motors returning as a Strategic Partner of Moreton Daily for 2026.
The family-owned dealership group has been serving the region for more than 57 years, helping generations of local residents find their next vehicle.
Partner Relations Officer Shane Prosser said supporting the community had always been a core part of Village Motors’ values.
“We’ve always believed in giving back to the community that supports us,” Shane said.
“That includes being a long-term partner of the Redcliffe Dolphins and the Dolphins NRL team, as well as supporting a range of local sporting clubs and community initiatives across Moreton Bay.”
Backing independent local journalism
Village Motors first partnered with Moreton Daily in 2025 and has chosen to continue the partnership after seeing the impact of locally focused reporting across the region.
“We are proudly backing independent journalism in the modern day,” Shane said.
“Village Motors has been around for 57 years within the Moreton Bay area. We support local communities and sporting groups and try to give back to everyone in our community.”
Shane said the decision to return as a Strategic Partner for 2026 was driven by the importance of having news coverage that focuses specifically on local people and stories.
“We were a Strategic Partner for 2025 and it was great to see all the local stories that really focused on our area.
“We’ve come back on for 2026 so we can continue to see these stories, advertise and be part of the greater community.”
Supporting the Moreton Bay community
Moreton Daily Partnerships Manager Lyndsay Lawler said Village Motors’ continued support reflected the shared commitment between local businesses and community journalism.
“Village Motors has been part of the fabric of Moreton Bay for decades, and it’s fantastic to see them continuing their support for local journalism,” Lyndsay said.
“Partnerships like this help ensure our community can access free, independent news that highlights the people, businesses and organisations doing great things across Moreton Bay.”
Village Motors operates dealerships in North Lakes and Rothwell, offering new and used vehicles and representing brands including Nissan, RAM, LDV, GMSV, GWM, KGM, Chevrolet, Mahindra and Geely.
