Work starts on new Junction precinct at North Lakes

The first sod has been officially turned on the new North Lakes Junction precinct on Anzac Ave.

With construction work starting on the site opposite North Lakes Dr, the mayor said developments such as this showed investor confidence in our fast-growing region.

“This development is a great example of how co-locating appropriate development alongside amenities like retail precincts, transport hubs and major parks can create a vibrant local community,” Mayor Flannery said.

“We are rethinking planning to achieve better outcomes for our community, and I look forward to seeing what this precinct becomes.

Tenancies

“We know the growth challenge that our region faces and are keen to work constructively on developments that have local lifestyle and community amenities at heart.”

North Lakes Junction will have commercial tenancies ranging from 55sqm to 1000sqm with plenty of on-site parking.

There will also be home to 30 two and three-bedroom apartments at the rear with their own private access. The development is expected to be completed by mid-2022.
