Work to start on new development
Civil construction work on stage one of a new development in Bellmere is expected to start next month.
Builder-developer McNab anticipates that stage of Currawong Place, within the new Waraba township, will be completed by June next year.
Stage one is already sold out with all 40 lots snapped up by builders. The $20m development will ultimately have 54 lots on 4.63 hectares.
McNab’s Head of Property Development Andrew Hay said Currawong Place will appeal to first-home buyers “navigating the complexities of building for the first time”.
“Our decision to partner with some of Queensland’s most trusted builders for this project was both about providing certainty and simplifying the process,” he said.
Selling agent, Peter Neale from RPM Group, said buyers will work directly with their chosen builder from the outset.
“It streamlines the process, cuts down on paperwork and reduces the risk that often comes with purchasing land and building a home separately,” he said.
Lot sizes range from 283sqm to 1144sqm and house and land packages are expected to start from $730,000.
Currawong Place is close to shopping centres, schools, parks and essential services, with Warbu Bellmere Shopping Centre five minutes away.
