$2.8 million upgrade taking shape

North Lakes Sports Club is just a few weeks away from completing its $2.8 million refurbishment.

Construction teams have been upgrading bar, deck and restaurant areas of the venue named 2022 Queensland Club of the Year in the Grand category.

The work, pictured below, is expected to be completed by the middle of June.

“We want to create a diverse range of outlets that will appeal to multiple age groups,” North Lakes Sports Club Marketing Manager Veronica Vivian said.

“Our aim is to create a one stop night out, without having to travel into the city.

“We are very much loving seeing these new spaces take shape and can’t wait to bring more exclusive, intimate and thrilling experiences to our community.”

The refurbishment, see artist's impressions above, includes a larger sports hub and sports bar and deck with a variety of screens including a 12sqm version.

There will also be a premium spirit bar, modern Asian restaurant, lounge area with an LED wall and an ice cream station.

These will add to the existing Banyan restaurant and deck, kids club, café and gaming room.
