2022 Youth Art Awards open
Entries for Moreton Bay Region’s 2022 Youth Art Awards are open, giving young people the opportunity to show off their creative side and schools a chance to win scholarships for workshops in the collaborative art category.
A swag of prizes and trophies is on offer for young artists in this year’s awards, with $200 for the best individual entry from each of the four grade groups, and in each of the two art categories.
In the collaborative section, groups can win a $1000 scholarship to be spend on art workshops for their school.
The collaborative section is open to schools in the Moreton Bay Region, with groups made up of three or more students.

Artists can enter all kinds of works in 2D and 3D, with entries grouped by grade level.
Two-dimensional work can include painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and digital art, while 3D entries can include sculpture, ceramics and installations.
The 2022 Moreton Bay Region Youth Art Awards are open to school-aged residents of the region and students at schools in the region who live elsewhere.
Entries close on September 1 at 11.59pm.
Artworks will be exhibited at the Strathpine Community Centre from Saturday, October 15 until Sunday, October 23.
