All wrapped up for a good cause

If you’re not the best at wrapping presents, Morayfield Shopping Centre has you covered. The centre has gift wrapping stations with all the trimmings – and they raise money for two very worthy causes.

For a gold coin donation, gifts will not only be beautifully wrapped, they will also support local women and children, with all funds raised going to charities Meant to Rise and the Zonta Club of Caboolture.

Healing survivors

Meant to Rise supports survivors of child sexual abuse, helping them to heal and become an empowered survivor. They provide support groups, counseling, mentorship, and unique therapies.

The Zonta Club of Caboolture supports local women affected by domestic violence, homelessness, or illness with a range of programs providing everything from emergency packs, food and baby packs, to Christmas hampers, safety courses, adult literacy and advocacy.

Community support

Centre spokesperson Krystall Waldock says Morayfield Shopping Centre supports not-for-profit organisations in the community that are making a big impact.

“We are very proud to work with local not-for-profits like Meant to Rise and Zonta Club of Caboolture,” Krystall says.

“With 100 per cent of customer donations going to these organisations, it’s a great opportunity to raise vital funds for vital support services in our community.”

The gift-wrapping stations are near Target and the Post Office.
