Annie Lane rallies for farm project

The award-winning Annie Lane Café, on Bribie Island, will hold a special event this month to support The Mini Farm Project.

As a Mini Farm ambassador and sponsor, Annie Lane Café is hosting a fundraising dinner on Saturday October 21, from 6pm.

It will be an evening “of nourishing cuisine, inspiring conversations and a shared commitment to making a difference in our community”.

A champagne reception will be followed by a two-course dinner, prepared by Candice and her team at the Bongaree venue.

Dishes will have produce directly sourced from The Mini Farm Project, based at Samford, creating a “garden-to-plate sensation”.

Nick Steiner, founder of the Mini Farm Project, with Candice at the award-winning Annie Lane Cafe.

Nick Steiner, founder of The Mini Farm Project and Moreton Bay’s Citizen of the Year, will share his passion for tackling food insecurity in Queensland.

He will also show how easy and affordable it is to be part of The Mini Farm Project's Giving Circle, which plays a vital role in addressing this critical issue.
