Art Tarts shine in anniversary exhibition

Now in its 15th year, the annual Art Tarts exhibition remains a vibrant celebration of artist ingenuity.

This year’s display will be on show from November 18-30 at Bribie Island Community Arts Centre.

It will bring together 10 talented artists, each contributing their distinct voice to a collective narrative of expression.

This year’s artists are Jenny Short, Molly Galpin, Wendy Lynch, Prim Rodgers-Walker, Kerrie Western, Beth Morrow, Dale Berridge, Corinne Purcell, Karen Quinn and Patricia Wheatstone.

Their collective works span a spectrum of mediums including traditional painting and prints, intricate sculptures and pottery to exquisite jewellery, slumped and painting glass, textile works and even innovative mixed media installations.

Art lovers will have the chance to meet the artists during the exhibition opening night event on November 18 from 5pm at Bribie Island Community Arts Centre. Entry is free. There will be refreshments, finger food and music; and a lucky door prize, valued at $300, drawn on the night.

The Art Tarts thanked sponsors RSL Bribie Island, Right Look Property Maintenance and State Member for Pumicestone Ariana Doolan.

The Art Tarts exhibition continues to support the Bribie Pink Dragons.
