Christmas shenanigans

If you think the elves have been naughty at your place … you’re not alone. They’re also running amok at Visitor Information Centres across the Moreton Bay Region.

Volunteers working at the centres have been greeted by all sorts of hilarious scenes in recent days.

The elves have been hanging from window frames, wedged in photocopiers, draped across brochures and even caught using hand sanitiser.

They’ve brought smiles to the faces of volunteers, who will be staffing the Visitor Information Centres every day during the Christmas break except Christmas Day.

Need expert holiday tips?

Volunteers at the region’s Visitor Information Centres are the experts when it comes to the Moreton Bay Region.

If you’re a local wanting to get out and explore the region, or a visitor wanting a list of places to see and things to do, they can help.

The centres are at:

  • Pine Rivers Park, Strathpine
  • Woodford
  • Clontarf
  • Redcliffe
  • Bribie Island
  • Caboolture Historical Village
  • BP Caboolture (Bruce Hwy)
  • Samford

More volunteers are needed to join the team at some of the centres. If you’re interested, phone 3897 4940 or email alexis.young@mbrit.com.au to find out more.
