Club’s special back-to-school gifts

Forty-five students in the Caboolture region will receive a special back-to-school package thanks to Brisbane American Motorcycle Club (BAMC).

Proceeds from the BAMC’s regular meat tray raffles at The Big Fish Tavern Caboolture are again being used towards helping children in need.

The club’s ninth annual Back to School Day, on January 23, would present the children with a pair of shoes and a mixture of book packs and resource pack vouchers.

They will be treated to rides on Harley-Davidson motorbikes around Centenary Lakes in Caboolture where there will also be a jumping castle, sausage sizzle and an ice cream.

Robyn Moore, the BAMC Social Officer, said the students who will receive the back-to-school packs are from schools in Caboolture and Morayfield.

BAMC, which is based in the Caboolture region, started its charity day to help less fortunate children return to school on the same playing field as classmates.

The club thanks its sponsors The Big Fish Tavern Caboolture, the Long Yard Beef Company at Bellmere Butchers, Elimbah Newsagency, Spendless shoes and everyone who supports the weekly meat tray raffles.
