Crowds flock to Village's grand opening

Capestone Village celebrated its grand opening in Mango Hill with more than 500 people at a special launch for locals at the Everfresh Food Market.

There was free popcorn and fruit for children, tastings from suppliers and six $2000 cheques given to local sports clubs.

Kim McCosker, the best-selling author from 4 Ingredients, handed out samples from a baked Oakfield ham.

Until Christmas every customer buying an Oakfield ham can get a signed copy of 4 Ingredients’ Celebrations cookbook, while stocks last.

Opening soon

Joining the crowds were Everfresh CEO Graham Booysen, Moreton Bay Regional Council Deputy Mayor Jodie Shipway and Federal Member for Petrie Luke Howarth.

More outlets are expected to follow with a barber later this month and Degani Café on November 11.

Liquorland and Empire Kebabs will start trading later this year with EMF Performance Centre and Prosper Exercise Physiology early in 2022.

Capestone Village shopping centre has three precincts - retail, health, wellness and lifestyle; restaurants and cafes; and other amenities.
