Doctors' orders Dylan Alcott unable to fly ... show goes on
Doctors’ orders mean Dylan Alcott AO is unable to fly up for a business event in the Moreton Bay Region tomorrow, but he still plans to attend … virtually.
The Business Networking Lunch organised by Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism is still going ahead on Friday, June 16, at Eatons Hill Hotel’s Grand Ballroom but the guest of honour may have to tuck into a sandwich at home while he’s delivering his address.
In a statement he said: “I am super bummed I cannot make it in person tomorrow as unfortunately I have a cut on my leg and doctors’ orders say I can’t fly. But I will be online and looking forward to meeting you all virtually, so we can still have a ripper day together. I appreciate the understanding!”
The organisers have offered guests partial, if they still plan to attend, or full refunds, if they no longer wish to attend. All ticketholders have been contacted.
Guests can still enjoy a two-course meal, entertainment and networking opportunities.
