Dolphins' new "first of kind" deal

Dolphins NRL team has signed a sponsorship “first” with the country’s largest plant medicine clinic Alternaleaf.

The alliance, described by the company as the first of its kind in Australia for the plant medicine industry, will see Alternaleaf feature on the sternum of all Dolphins uniforms this season.

As an Official Partner, the logo will prominently feature at Dolphins' games at Suncorp Stadium and Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe.

Alternaleaf will work with the Dolphins team to “reduce stigma and foster a more informed and educated community around the one million-plus Aussies who rely on these medications”.

Rhys Staley, Vice President of Montu, the parent company of Alternaleaf, is thrilled to be partnering with Dolphins to support mental and physical health.

“The Dolphins embody innovation and forward thinking at every level of the game values we also champion as a business,” Staley said.

“The doctors and nurses at Alternaleaf are dedicated to supporting patients’ health through accessible healthcare solutions, and so this partnership is a perfect fit.”

The collaboration between Alternaleaf and the Dolphins NRL team represents a coming together of leaders in their respective fields.

“We are very happy to enter into a partnership with a company like Alternaleaf that has a strong commitment to health and wellbeing,” said Dolphins CEO Terry Reader.

“We welcome Alternaleaf to the Dolphins’ sponsorship family and look forward to working with them to assist to continue to grow their brand in the Australian health landscape.”

To celebrate the partnership, Alternaleaf and Dolphins are running a competition for a signed playing jersey, with entries welcome until the first game of the season, on Sunday March 10.
