Duo make Talent Quest final
Two Moreton Bay singers are among the finalists announced for next month’s Urban Queensland Stardust Talent Quest in Caboolture.
Jada Clark will be in her hometown and Lenny Boss has a short trip from Lawnton for the talent quest at Caboolture Showgrounds on Saturday October 4.
It is part of the Urban Country Music Festival, which is returning to its original venue after a nine-year hiatus.
More than 50 nominations were received for the competition from which judges selected 12 outstanding finalists.
They are chasing more than $20,000 in prizes and what organisers describe as “money-can’t-buy opportunities”.
Tracy and the Big D, who are on the Talent Quest committee, said were “amazed at the talent and the level of performance we saw during the nomination process.
“Don’t envy the judges on the day because coming up with the 12 finalists was challenging,” they said.
“It’s going to be very tough, but we’re really excited to see the outcome.”
The 2025 finalists are Beth Lucas, Chloe Swannell, Coral Renee, Katie Daniels, Faith Williams, Georgie Darr, Jade Clark, Lenny Boss, Tameka, Tiffany Grace, Tahnee Rose, and Zak Armstrong.
The rising stars will be on stage before the Festival’s afternoon concert with Sue Ryan, Jake Whittaker and Beccy Cole.
